Neuroaffirming, Inclusive & Compassionate Psychology for Adults in Adelaide & Across Australia
About Giles House Psychology
A space to understand yourself & build a life that fits you
The name Giles House reflects the intention behind the practice: to offer more than a clinical service, but a place that feels steady, welcoming & safe
A place where you can show up as you are, reconnect with yourself, and move toward a life that feels more meaningful and your own.
Our Mission
Giles House Psychology is committed to provide neuroaffirming, trauma-informed therapy that supports people to better understand themselves and live in ways that honour their needs, identities, and capacities.
Our work is helping people move from survival toward lives that feel more sustainable, meaningful, and their own.
You are welcome here
Safety, Respect & Acceptance are Central to Our Work
Therapy is a space where you can talk openly about your identity, relationships, and experiences without judgment or assumptions, or pressure to explain or justify yourself.
We honour the intersection of identity, neurodivergence, health, culture, and life experience, and support you to build self-understanding, self-trust, and a life that feels authentic and sustainable.
Inclusion at Giles House Psychology is not an add-on – it is a foundation.
Therapy is a collaborative space where difference is respected, your experiences are honoured, and change happens at your pace.

Therapy is something we do together. Your voice, needs, and goals guide the process.
Grounded in warmth, respect & genuine understanding
About Giles House Psychology
Giles House Psychology was created to offer a different kind of therapeutic space – one grounded in warmth, respect, and genuine understanding. A space where you don’t have to explain or justify yourself, where you can exhale, and where therapy feels like something you lead, not something done to you.
The practice grew from a recognition that many people struggle not because something is inherently ‘wrong’ with them, but because they have spent much of their lives in environments that did not fully understand or support who they are. Giles House was founded on the belief that therapy works best when people feel safe enough to be fully themselves.
Therapy here offers space to slow down, make sense of your experiences, and develop ways of living that feel more sustainable and aligned with your needs, values, and identity. The focus is not on fixing who you are, but on supporting greater self-understanding, self-trust, and wellbeing.
You don’t need a diagnosis, a referral, or a clear reason to begin
Many people simply know that something in their life feels difficult, heavy, or unsustainable, and want support to understand why.
Therapy can help you reconnect with yourself, strengthen your internal resources, and move toward a life that feels more meaningful, manageable, and your own.
